The 128GB version of Google Pixel 8a has been priced at Rs 52,999 and the 256GB version will set you back by Rs 59,999. It is worth mentioning that the price of the Pixel 7a starts at Rs 43,999.
Despite being the most affordable smartphone of the Pixel 8 Series, the Google Pixel 8a is powered by the same Tensor G3 chip that powers Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. Additionally, the recently launched smartphone gets some artificial intelligence features – for example, Circle to Search – from its elder siblings.
Just like its siblings, the Google Pixel 8a will get seven years of software updates and Android OS upgrades.
The Pixel 8a comes with a 6.1-inch screen with an OLED Actua display which boasts a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass and offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and 430 PPI.
The display offers peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. It supports HDR and has a full 24-bit depth for 16 million colours. According to the tech major, the screen on the Pixel 8a is 40 per cent brighter compared to the Pixel 7a.
The smartphone has a dual camera setup with a 64-megapixel main lens and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The camera has several AI features like Best Take for group shots, Magic Editor for editing, and Audio Magic Eraser for removing unwanted sounds from videos.
It has a 4492mAh battery that the company claims can last for an entire day.
